Proverbs of Ezekiel Servant Thompson

1. Divorce is like pulling out one’s right eye or cutting out one’s right ear, hand, or foot.

I had a dog, German Shepherd, for about 10 months and was about to surrender him to LA county animal shelter.  I will miss him a lot but it was really necessary for me to send him out because I had more important things to do for the remaining short life; I am a 68-year old man.  He and I had good time together and he was a nice pet or companion for me.  Then I thought about how easily many couples end their marriages by divorce at the court nowadays to their disadvantage and misery.  Bible allows it under one condition only which is adultery, that is, the breach of loyalty to one’s spouse.

2. The more one uses his limited time wisely and efficiently, the better his life shall be.   Nobody can stop or hold time from passing by.

There is a maxim which says, time is money or another one, time flies, which are very obviously true.  Nobody can go back to the past time or moment, not to mention that one can stop or hold it from flowing.  GOD the Father is timeless, that is, HE is infinite past, present, and infinite future.  This is the only attribute of HIS character finite men can not imagine or comprehend.  Finite men with beginning at one time birth and ending with one time death on earth can not understand infinite nature of HIM in heaven.

I noticed how time flies rapidly as I was growing old, so I started my own time management daily.  I was fighting with time to beat it in the race so to speak and started using it wisely daily, that is, I forgo certain non-essential tasks or activities to save my precious and more importantly limited time.  Time really flies fast.

3. The more one loves (charity) GOD the Father, the more he loves (charity) his neighbor and family.  1Joh 4:20

1Jo 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Nobody can love (charity) his neighbor unless he loves (charity) GOD the Father in heaven first.  Now how much he loves (charity) HIM depends on how much he is filled with deep faith.  After he grows spiritually, he will have a closer relationship with HIM and love (charity) HIM more and more without limit.  Then his love (charity) toward his neighbor, family, or anybody will grow likewise.
